MotorUse brings you all the details that you want to know about the upcoing 2018 Volvo XC40. The car has details have been leaked accidentally by Volvo Hungary prior to the official reveal on September 21. The car is expected to make its debut in US later this year at LA Auto show and on sale in 2018.

The XC40 in the screen grabs above is the R-Design flavor, so it’s a little early to say if all versions of the XC40 will feature a two-tone color scheme with a black roof. In all, the XC40 will be offered in three trim levels: Momentum, R-Design and Inscription. Momentum will be the base model, while R-Design will offer a dash of sport and style. Inscription will be more luxury oriented, as with other Volvo offerings.
ENGINE
The car will come with a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline powerplant as the engine. A costlier version will have 2.0 liter four cylinder engine also a plug-in hybrid will be available under the “Twin Engine” badge pairing three cylinder engine with electric motor.
