The second generation of Hyundai Elite i 20 will be unveiled at the 2018 Indian Auto Expo. The car was first spied at in the April 2017. During the recent launch of 2017 Hyundai Verna, it was speculated that the car wil be launched in 2018 Indian Auto Expo. When the Maruti Baleno in 2015 it was beleived that it will effect the sales of Hyundai Elite i20.
Features of Hyundai Elite i20
Here are some features of the Hyundai Elite i20 that are expected to be seen in the car at launch in 2018. Come let’s have a look at them in series..
Interior- The car comes with dual tone paint scheme, six airbags, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Exterior- The exterior might boast sunroof/moon roof, Eco coating which eliminates odor from AC, redesigned bumper, hexagonal grille, LED tail lamp, ABS (Anti-lock Breaking System).
Dimensions- The will be no changes in the dimension of Hyundai Elite i20 2018, it will be the same as before, 3,985 mm length, 1,734 mm width, 1,505 mm height and 2,570 mm wheelbase.
Engine- The car’s engine will come in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant will be powered in 1.2 litre and 1.4 litre units with 5 speed transmission and 4 speed automatic transmission. It is expected that the company may offer 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine which will produce 120 hp and torque of 172 Nm.
The diesel variant will be available in 1.4 litre CRDi producing 89 hp and torque of 220 Nm coming with 6 speed manual transmission.
Colours- It is expected the colours in which the car will be available in market will be the same as before.
Price- The ex-showroom price of the car has not been announced officially.
Competitors– The car being in the B- segment hatchback will has competitors in the market like Maruti Swift, VW Polo, Toyota Etios Liva, Fiat Punto Evo, Tata Vista and Chevrolet Sail U-VA.
