At the launch of the car, the Senior Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Mr RS Kalsi said, “Ciaz has established itself as one of the most progressive brands of Maruti Suzuki and has sold over 1.70 lakh units of Ciaz cumulative since its launch in October 2014. The introduction of Ciaz S will further strengthen the position of Ciaz in the market by catering to the requirements of a younger yet premium customer who believes in the sporty spirit of life.”

EXTERIOR
The exterior of the car gets many new updates like spoiler front and side under, sculpted lines rear bumper, even bigger rear spoiler.
INTERIOR
The car gets a complete black interior, seat belt pre-tensioner, chrome accents in cabin, dual airbags, touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, cruise control, climate control and many more cool features.
ENGINE
The new Ciaz S is powered by the same engine as before with Petrol engine of 1.4 litre and 91bhp and torque of 130 Nm. The Deisel engine comes with 1.3 litre and 88bhp and 200 Nm torque with Smart Hybrid Vehicle from Suzuki. Both the engines come with 5- speed manual transmission.
COLOUR
The car comes with the same old colours.
PRICE
The car comes with a price tag of Rs. 9.39 lakh in petrol engine (Ex- showroom price) and 11.55 lakh in deisel engine Ex- showroom price).
COMPETITIORS
The car will face a major competition from Volkswagen Vento, Hyundai Verna, Skoda Rapid and Honda City.
